FLU AND COVID BOOSTERS
Riverside Patients Only
Clinics will be held at Riverside Medical Centre
The NHS flu and Covid vaccine programme has been brought forward this year due to the risk of the new Covid variant.
The following patients are eligible for vaccines:
Everyone over the age of 65
Under 65 in a clinical risk group including pregnant patients
Frontline health and social care workers
People aged 12-64 who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
People aged 16-64 who are carers and staff in care homes.
The flu and Covid vaccines will be administered at the same time. This will be two separate vaccines and, of course, you do not have to have both vaccines, that choice is yours and you can let us know when you arrive here.
Saturday 16th September - Those aged 77 & over
Saturday 23rd September – Those aged 71-76
Saturday 30th September – Those aged 65 – 70
Those under 65 can come to any of the dates above. If you cannot make the date given you can come to any session.
On each of these days we will be open from *08:30am to 2:30pm* Try to spread your visit out across the day.
If members of the same household overlap in the age groups you are welcome to come along together to the earliest session.
Housebound patients are going to be vaccinated on the 28th September and 5th October. We will be in contact to book these in. Please let us know if we are not aware you are housebound.
