Riverside Medical Centre is a training practice. This means that we have registrar GPs (ST3) who are in the final year of their training. They spend a year at the practice from August. We also have FY2 doctors who are with us for 4 months starting in April, August and December. All of the doctors are qualified and are just going through the final years of their training under the supervision of the GP partners at the practice.
We do appreciate that this does mean that you may not see the same doctor all of the time but, if we did not have these additional doctors, we just would not be able to cope with the demand, so please bear with us.
